This was awkward from beginning to end; I know the absolute basics of the anime, but I've never seen much of it; but it was cool because she gave me the youtube video (posted above) as a jumping point. Which was great because I was really worried how to portray them and this really helped me loosen up and not be so anal about something that's supposed to be fun.

I tried lots of different shading techniques on this, but I decided on the classic cel shading because it acually looked alot better this way. The realistic approach I was going for initially looked so...god awful with this (which stunk because that was a wasted 14 hours right there)

Anywhoo, I hope you like it girl!! This certainly kept me busy!
